Catching up . . .

swornSo here it is, my new Gothic comedy romance and tipped to be funnier than Blood Line. My thanks and appreciation go to Caroline Clemmons who has provided me with an AMERICAN edit. Many thanks Caroline. It is surprising the real differences between our two cultures language-wise. I wanted to say the moon looked like a silver sixpence - and was floundering with cents, dollars what have you. But Caroline set me straight.

There was also a difference in our use of the word 'squint'.  ' Vive la difference' as they say en France. A wonderful expression which should be applied to more than just language.

Many, many thanks also to Kirsten Norrie who proof read and laughed at all the right places, and gave me much encouragement.

Launching this book in the next few days. See you there on Amazon kindle.

Bea Trevallis was never convinced about her Aunt Matilda's magic spells. Not, that is, until the Beautiful as the Day spell worked - and didn't wear off either.

SWORN is the first in the Moon Child series.

Congratulations on SWORN, Kate! Very interested to hear of the language differences. My US editor and I had a misunderstanding over the word "quite" until she told me that in US English it could mean "very." Love all these little nuances.
